It has been just over a month now that people have been taking to the streets of Tirana every single night. There’s a certain energy that swells just before 7:00 each evening as people make their way to the main boulevard with their flags, their signs, their whistles. The people are all on the move and the flamingos are marching on.

I used to have this giant yellow bag for international travel. Thinking back I don’t even know where we purchased it but I am sure my mother found it at some sporting goods store.
